⚫︎Japanese dessertChirashi sushi(called Chirashi Zushi in Japan and literally means “scattered sushi”), is usually made for celebrations such as Girls Day(3rd March),New year celebrations or Birthday parties as it’s a very colorful and cheerful looking dish.
You can keep with the traditional ingredients, or use a variety of ingredients to make your own original dish! This time I’ll show you how to make vegan/vegetarian based dish.
I will teach you the traditional style of Chirashi sushi, how to prepare the sushi rice and prepare and make the various toppings. I will demonstrate how we decorate it nicely (especially the carrot flower).
I’ll also show you how to make a green vegetable&sesame paste side dish, as well as home made miso soup(using homemade miso paste) without using fish stock.
