Katsu-don (simmered pork cutlet bowl)
・Japanese beer/ Sake/ Green tea
Katsu-don is typical Japanese homemade dish. It is a bowl of rice topped with a breaded pork cutlet that is simmered in a special sauce with onions and beaten eggs. It’s very popular in Japan and one of my family’s favorite.
Hello, I’m Mikako. I live in Tokyo with my husband and two daughters. My place is located in approximately 10min. from Tokyo station that is the center of Tokyo, and close to Ikebukuro Station as well.
I like cooking and eating. I believe food brings us all together. I feel the most joy when I am talking with tourists from all around the world while eating together.
I am looking forward to seeing you !

Mikako is an awesome and I have good time learning from her. Japanese Pork Cutlet is one of the favorite dishes of my children. She is an excellent teacher-friendly, well organized, with clear and precise demonstration. She provides handouts so I feel confident that I can make it after I get back to US.
