Decorative rolled sushi and side dishes
Sushi and tempura are famous for Japanese cuisine, but at home they do not eat that frequently.
At home, simple dishes such as miso soup, grilled fish, seasonal vegetables.
And, there is a taste of mother passed down by each.
At home, we cook with the fresh vegetables of the season harvested in the field.
If timing matches, harvesting experience is also possible.
I think that you can taste the taste different from the restaurant surely.

Sushi (寿司, 鮨) is a Japanese dish of specially prepared vinegared rice (鮨飯 sushi-meshi), usually with some sugar and salt, combined with a variety of ingredients (ネタ neta), such as seafood (most commonly and often raw), vegetables, and occasionally tropical fruits.
Styles of sushi and its presentation vary widely, but the key ingredient is "sushi rice", also referred to as shari (しゃり), or sumeshi (酢飯).

I want to make friends all over the world! And I want many people to experience Japanese home cooking! I always think. Go to your friend 's house and eat pleasantly by making rice together! .... I'd like to have such a feeling. If you eat together, you get to know each other well, you can get along better. I am dreaming of making such encounters as people all over the world. I am very interested in international exchange since I was a child. I am hosting a host family of high school students from Switzerland, Australia and Spain, and now I am volunteering and enjoying studying Japanese for international students. Why do not you try new experiences with me who love to eat and cook? I am looking forward to it!

Thank you very much. I was really engaged into this activity, experiencing the making process of the traditional Japanese cuisine and I do think it is not just Japanese food but more like an artistic work, which means I have to be more patient than I previously thought, but anyway, I do think it was an excellent experience. The oolong tea tasted extremely delicious as well as the "Hanbagu". And all the vegetable we ate were just picked off from Fumie san's yard. It was so fresh that I've never had before. Also, I did enjoy talking with you about so many different culture. Thank you very much for picking me up from the station and sending me back. If possible, I will participate in this cooking lesson again and recommend to my friend as well.
