My name is Michiko, Food lover and professional cooking teacher.
I'm originally from Kanazawa a lovely city near the beach, I grew up with lovely seafoods and I'm now living in Tokyo.

I studied English in UK, and Chinese in Beijing and Shanghai. I love traveling in the world and meeting the people and touching the culture!
I'm now studying Italian as I adore Italian food and wine!

My place is in Azabuju-ban located in the center of Tokyo.
It is popular for nice secret restaurants so a lots of gourmet lovers visit the neighborhood, That's why I live here!

Our cooking experience with Michi's Table was marvelous.  Besides teaching us the expert techniques of tempura cooking, she also shared with us the history of the food we cooked.  This exemplified her in-depth knowledge of Japanese cuisine. Her love for food art was also shown by the way she taught us how to set the table for the food, interwoven with beautiful tableware and cutlery sets.  Aside to cooking, she was happy to share about the nice places of Tokyo to visit.  In short, Michiko is an awesome host.
