All Natural Ramen & Steamed Bun
・All natural ramen with wheat flour noodle, chaasuu pork, bamboo shoots, nori and leek
・Steamed bun with chaasuu pork, cucumber, leek, sweet miso and spicy mayo
It will be a 120 minutes Ramen and steamed bun making workshop. First 10 minutes will be an introductory lecture of Ramen, talking about different type of soup stocks, flavor profiles, toppings and noodles. I will explain and demonstrate how to make basic chicken stock and soy based sauce. Each guest will make noodle, half boiled egg and flavored oils from scratch. At the end all guest have a bowl of self-made Ramen by choosing their own favorite toppings and enjoy steamed buns as a side dish.
Hello. My name is Yoshi. I'm a freelance sushi/washoku instructor with 25 years of experience. I started my culinary career in US and worked at many upscale Japanese restaurants like Nobu in NYC. I'm currently teaching at a sushi school nearby Tsukiji fish market. I also conduct the sushi/ramen workshops in Asakusa in order to introduce the great culture of sushi/washoku to people from all over the world.
