Grandma's healthy cooking
Well balanced dishes with seasonal vegetables, using the variety of seasoning [soy sauce, miso, vinegar, sesame, vinegar...] and ingredients [umeboshi plum, tofu, konjak...] prepared by 87 years old specialist who likes talking about her long experience of her life as well.
The meal is composed with main dish, sub dishes, soup and rice.
It is programed to discover the basic of Japanese food for ingredients, way of cooking and decoration.
At the end of meal, tea and red beans sweet is served.
All the detail of meals will be explained in English or in French by her daughter.
Hello & Bonjour. I've been organising the Japanese style Shojin & vegan cooking classes in English and French with several specialists. It is my pleasure to present many differents ideas and bases with which you can continue cooking when you will be back home. The class will take place at my apartement in Kamakura, known for the historical sites (Great buddha, the first zen temple, one of the biggest shrine in Japan etc). You could also go to the beach, 7 min walk from our place.
