Stuffed with a a variety of fillings and flavors, these rice balls make an ideal quick snack and are a fun alternative to sandwitches for lunch.

    Rice is a staple food in Japan. In all most every family, there is a rice cooker. There is variety of Japanese rice brands such as Koshihikari and Hitomebore.

    Miso Soup

    Miso soup is a traditional Japanese soup. It's base is "dashi" (Japanese fish stock) and Miso paste. Common added ingredients are Tofu, Green onion and deep‐fried tofu but differs by personal preference. The type of miso is different from region. In western and Easter Japan white miso is mostly used.

Tofu steak
I put on clothes on tofu and bake it in full grilled. I use ginger or sesame for the topping.

Pickles are something like pickles from old days in Japan. I will use seasonal vegetables.

vegetable salad
I will make Japanese seasonal vegetables salad. Depending on the season, take it together in the garden and let's have fun.

Miso soup
Miso soup which is soul food in Japan. Please enjoy plenty of vegetable miso soup.

Onigiri or rice
You can choose rice balls or rice as you like.

Desert
I will put on fruit or homemade dessert.
